Chard

The best thing about this chard was the lovely granite underneath it.  Boy, I miss that granite (we moved from a house we owned to an apartment). Anyway, I chopped up the chard and stir-fried it with some olive oil and salt, then paired it up with scrambled eggs. Some people like that.  Not me. Once was enough.  However, I am still open for suggestions, so let’s hear it. Remember, no more than seven ingredients.

Are you sure it is chard? in the photo it looks like rhubarb ... if so, pie would be much better than eggs! But maybe you took the photo after you chopped up the leaves and it only looks like rhubarb

Oh, dear, now I'm not sure. Rhubarb is not something I am familiar with. Now I have a mission--rhubarb or chard? I'll get to the bottom of this.

That's just what I got in the farm box. Do you think it's rhubarb?

Yes, it is probably Rhubarb... about 12" long, celery like structure, *very* acidic! best used to provide structure and acid for a strawberry rhubarb pie (because cooked strawberry pie would just be jam). I really can't imagine it in eggs ... your family is brave!

I wonder what other vegetables I have mis-cooked because I didn't recognize them?!

Life is an adventure, not a paint by numbers ... besides, no one died from your mystery veggies so all is well :-)

Not having people die from eating my cooking is one of my big goals in life.
